Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara, OC was born March 4, 1954. She is a comedian actor, writer, and actress. O'Hara has been awarded a variety of prizes that include the Genie Award (a Golden Globe Award) and two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. In addition, O'Hara was awarded six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, she was made an Officer of Canada. Then, in 2020, she was presented with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement award. O'Hara first drew notice as an actor in the year 1974, as a member of The Second City improvisational comedy troupe in Toronto. Dan Aykroyd and John Candy were also in her main cast in the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara began working alongside Candy in Second City Television's sketch comedy series (1976-1984). O'Hara was praised for her stand-up and writing talents, winning the Primetime Emmy Award of Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series in 1981. O'Hara, Steve Carell and Dwayne Colbert were included on the Second City artistic board in 2022.
